Guests

We have officially locked in two rounds of guests, and chances are high we will have more in attendance!

Sins O’ The Flesh is thrilled to announce our Marquee Celebrity Guest:

BARRY BOSTWICK!

In addition to starring as Brad Majors in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Barry has a long and accomplished career in stage, television and film. Three-time Tony Award nominee, he won the Tony for Best Actor in “The Robber Bridegroom” in 1976. He also starred as Danny Zuko in the original Broadway production of GREASE in 1972.

Mayor Winston, Spin City, 2000.

Barry is especially well-remembered as Mayor Randall M. Winston Jr. on the TV Show SPIN CITY, starring in 145 episodes from 1996-2002. As Barry himself told us, “I’ve been playing Brad my whole life!” An actor of great range and versatility, he still gets called upon to play characters with a touch of Brad.

Recent performances include roles in the Hannah Montana movie and the TV shows Cougartown, Ugly Betty, Nip/Tuck, and Law and Order: SVU. He also appeared in such classic TV shows as Hawaii: Five-O, Charlie’s Angels, hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live, and won a Golden Globe Award for his role in the mini-series “War and Remembrance.”

Ace Hunter, MEGAFORCE, 1982.

A long-term survivor of prostate cancer, Barry is a busy activist and philanthropist, raising money and awareness for cancer and other charities. In 2004, he won the Gilda Radner Courage Award from the Roswell Park Cancer Institute. He has two teenage children, and enjoys a passion for making ceramic art. A self-described “fan of the fans,” Barry has a deserved reputation for being one of the most friendly, accessible, charming and engaging celebrities.

SHOCK TREATMENT, 1981

Cliff today
Prior to his acting career, Cliff De Young was the lead singer of the 1960s rock group Clear Light, which played with The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, and Janis Joplin. After the band broke up, he starred in the original Broadway production of Hair. Cliff & Jessica Harper were actually in the cast of Hair at the same time, so when it came time to shoot Shock Treatment, they were already old friends. Cliff has starred in over eighty motion pictures including Glory, The Craft, F/X, Carnosaur 2 and The Hunger. Not widely known is the fact that Cliff was RHPS director Jim Sharman’s first choice to play Brad in the film, but Cliff was booked shooting a TV series in LA and unavailable at the time.

Both are delighted to be Marquee guests for the Shock Treatment celebration and to personally meet the fans at their very first convention appearance!
